Requirements

  • macOS 15 or later.
  • An Apple Silicon Mac. Cove does not run on Intel Macs.
  • No account, no sign-in.

Install

  1. Open Cove.dmg and drag Cove to Applications.
  2. Open Cove. The first time, macOS confirms that Apple has checked it and asks once whether to open it.
  3. Add a feed, or import your subscriptions and folders from an OPML file.

Updates arrive inside the app.

What’s in the beta

Feeds and folders, full articles when a feed sends only a preview and the page allows it, a library that is never auto-deleted, offline search, setting older unread aside, Clips, and reading aloud all work today. Beta means the 1.0 feature set is still landing; the one thing coming next is on the roadmap.

If you ever leave, one click exports your subscriptions and folders as OPML. More in the FAQ.
